Physiotherapy

Are you in pain? We can help! Physiotherapy can make a substantial difference in your ability to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Our main focus is in reducing pain and correcting your dysfunction and/or injury. The cornerstone of our treatment is based on solid assessment skills as well as the use of manual therapy and exercise for treatment. We want to get you better as soon as possible, and get you back to playing your sport and enjoying life!

We’re primary healthcare professionals who treat patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Anyone with musculoskeletal or orthopaedic problems that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities on a day-to-day basis can benefit from physiotherapy. We can make a difference in our patient’s ability to live an active, healthy lifestyle. From seniors to weekend warriors, physiotherapy is the key to restoring and maintaining a level of physical function that permits independent living.

We strongly believe in the use of hands-on manual therapy for our patients. Manual therapy involves the therapist’s use of his or her hands to mobilize the joints of the spine and extremities, in order to create movement in the nerve tissue or to facilitate the activation, flexibility and normal tone of the muscle. Several different techniques can be used to restore normal function and regain control of that motion. This allows for each region of the body to move accordingly, efficiently and safely.

Our team of health care professionals is committed to your complete recovery. To ensure it, we provide the highest quality of individualized patient care available. Questions are always encouraged and answered promptly, letting our patients actively contribute to their rehabilitation.

Some of the conditions that we frequently treat at our clinic include:

  • Lower back pain/disc herniations/sciatica
  • Neck pain/stress related to sitting posture
  • Shoulder pain/tendinitis/rotator cuff problems
  • Knee pain/PFPS/arthritis
  • Achilles tendinitis/plantar fasciitis
